Role:

This role is a full-time role, based at our offices in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and reports to the Accounts & Office Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for the position of Administrator include but are not limited to:

  • Customer service: acting as the first point of contact for all those visiting the office, responding to email queries and telephone enquiries.  

  • General office administration. This includes and is not limited to filing, opening post, stock taking, ordering supplies, finance administration, managing meeting room diaries, investigating best rates from suppliers, handling petty cash.

  • There is a requirement for this role to be the First Aider for the Office for which training will be provided.  

  • Maintaining Board room meeting rooms and arranging refreshments for meetings and Directors.

  • Assist Directors with day to day administration and errands as required.

  • Marketing: supporting the online marketing plan by posting through various social media platforms including the website, Twitter and Instagram. Collating marketing material for conferences etc.

  • Arranging the maintenance of the Bluesky International Ltd estate to ensure health and safety compliance, to include equipment servicing, Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, plumber, electrician, cleaners etc and general office maintenance management including insurances.

  • Organising and coordination of internal events e.g. Charity fundraising days, Christmas party etc.  

  • Supporting with new starter Induction relating to the orientation of the building.

  • Update ISO documentation as required and oversee the ISO systems, specifically in relation to Quality and Environment with some involvement in Health & Safety OHSAS 18001.

  • Excellent telephone and computer skills

Desired criteria:

  • Experience of office administration

  • Has previously worked with and has knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
