Your email bounced back and I didn't get my image.

This is normally because we have tried to send you an attachment that exceeds the amount allowed by your web system or, if you haven't checked your email for a few days there is a possibility that your inbox is full and your quota has been reached. If this is the case you should have a notification email from your ISP explaining the reason. As soon as you have this, call us on 01530 518571 and let us know. We may be able to reduce the size of your image or find an alternative way of delivering your data. Have your five figure job number ready to help us to process your call more efficiently.

Who do I contact in regards to..?

To make life simpler, and to avoid those automated telephone systems, just call us on any of the numbers on our Contact Us page and tell us what you are after. We will then be able to forward your call to the relevant department.

What are your opening times?

Our official opening times are 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday. However, there are often staff around before and after these times who may be able to deal with your enquiries.

What is the date of my photograph?

To find out information relating to the date which your photography was flown call our sales team on 01530 518518. They have all the necessary information relating to our flying programmes and will be able to find the information you need. Please have your five figure job reference number to hand to allow us to process your call more efficiently.

What areas do you have coverage of?

Bluesky has a large archive of aerial photography and other airborne products ranging over a wide time scale. If you would like to know the exact coverage for a particular area then please contact our sale team on 01530 518518.

Can I reproduce the image you sent me?

All of Bluesky's GIS products have specific licensing agreements stating the precise nature of the material you have purchased. Any reproduction rights will have been identified before the transaction took place. If you are unsure as to whether you are able to reproduce your data then contact us on 01530 518518 to find out more. Please have your five figure job reference number to hand to allow us to process your call more efficiently.

What software do I need to view your imagery?

Small amounts of aerial imagery data will open in Internet Explorer. Bluesky offer a program called ER Viewer (free) which is for viewing high resolution imagery and for basic printing abilities. if you need GIS capabilities then Global Mapper (demo) is a great package that can import a variety of GIS data and view it in 3D if necessary. Both of these are available to download on our Software Download page. For editing the imagery, programs such as Photoshop and PaintShop Pro are ideal and allow for better printing features. Demos of both of these programs are available from the internet.

What software do I need to view your height data?

Any mainstream GIS software will open our height data. If you do not have any GIS capable software then download the Global Mapper demo from our Software Download page. This will give you the ability to visualise your height data on screen easily.

What software do I need to view your mapping data?

All of Bluesky's mapping data can be viewing in any GIS or CAD package. If you are unsure whether you have software in these categories then download the Global Mapper demo from our Software Download page.

I've downloaded some samples and I don't know what to do with them.

I chose an option on your website and it didn't do anything.

This is possibly because your web browser is blocking pop-ups. Although we do try to avoid using pop-ups, sometimes it is necessary to open a page in a new window. To stop this happening for this site only, in Internet Explorer go to

Tools -> Pop-up Blocker -> Pop-up Blocker settings

. In the box titled "

Address of website to allow:

" type "

" and click Add then click Close. This will add our website to your allowed list and the feature you are trying to use should work correctly.

Bluesky does not use any type of pop-up that is not directly related to what you have clicked so you can be sure that adding this domain to your allowed website list is safe.
