UK Aerial Photography Coverage

Bluesky is continually updating and upgrading the GeoPerspectives database in partnership with Infoterra. We currently have full coverage of England and Wales as well as a large proportion of Scotland. The mission of GeoPerspectives is to maintain up-to-date datasets which are no more than 5yrs old.

      Historical Aerial Photography

      The UK has been the subject of numerous aerial surveys over the past 60 years and as a result there are many archives of historical aerial photography containing a wealth of retrospective information. Bluesky is in a unique position to be able to access over 360,000 original photographs, offering an excellent record of landscape change, from the 1940's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's up to the present day.
